Genio Atyanto Shares Insights on Capital Markets Regulation at ICSA’s Corporate Secretary Professional Standards Workshop 

We are proud to share that our Partner, Genio Atyanto, contributed as one of the speakers at the “Corporate Secretary Professional Standards – Basic Education 1, Batch 4” workshop hosted by the Indonesia Corporate Secretary Association (ICSA) on 9–10 October at Ashley Hotel Wahid Hasyim, Jakarta.

The program reflects ICSA’s strong commitment to advancing professional competence, ethics, and the strategic role of corporate secretaries in Indonesia. It focused on compliance with OJK Regulation No. 35/POJK.04/2014 and emphasized the function of corporate secretaries as trusted advisors to the Board and key liaisons with regulators such as OJK and IDX. Since 2022, ICSA has adopted mandatory Professional Standards supported by a comprehensive competency-based education curriculum.

During this batch, participants explored seven essential areas, including capital market regulations, Indonesian corporate law, GCG, annual reporting, board responsibilities, corporate secretary duties, and ESG & sustainability reporting.

Through this meaningful contribution, Genio Atyanto supports the ongoing professional development of corporate secretaries and the enhancement of governance practices across the industry. ICSA continues to lead in developing highly capable professionals who not only meet regulatory expectations but also deliver strategic value to their organizations.
